All UA82 and SH81 seismic data were reinterpreted and the top Cretaceous, top Belfast Mudstone and top Otway Group horizons correlated across EPP 18. Reprocessed 1967, 1965 and selected Phillips (OP80) seismic data were also integrated. Significant differences from previous interpretations follow from the well ties to Voluta 1, Argonaut-A 1 and Crayfish 1, suggesting that the prospective Flaxman Formation is overlain by a thick section of Belfast Mudstone (with interbedded local sands) and is significantly deeper than previously mapped over much of the permit. This is complemented by the interpretation of regional facies units from the seismic data.
