Gasoline range hydrocarbon analysis, carbon isotope analysis of C12+ saturates and aromatics and GC-MS analysis of C12+ naphthenes provide a consistent picture of the source affinity and thermal maturity of Cretaceous (Murta Member-type) and Jurassic (Hutton Sandstone-type) oil samples obtained from Eromanga Basin reservoirs distributed across the Eromanga - Cooper Basins region.
