This collection of seismic sections over prospects and leads within the gazetted vacant areas 90B-90E of 22 June 1990 is intended for use in conjunction with the Prospects and Leads map which accompanies the Pedirka Sector Relinquishment Report by R. Teakle (1990), also included in Env 8257 (vol. 2). 5 prospects and 22 leads from the Pedirka North Block and 1 prospect and 9 leads from the Pedirka South Block are catalogued. A report detailing the Pedirka Sector farmout block partners perceived prospectivity of the petroleum exploration acreage being relinquished during 1989 and 1990. The relinquishment took place in two stages, 88 406 square km from the Pedirka, Arckaringa (100%), Dalhousie (100%), Mulka and Lake Eyre blocks being dropped on 27 February 1989 as part of the compulsory 25% acreage reduction attending the second renewal of PELs 5 and 6, and the remaining 37 018 square km of sector acreage (from the renamed Pedirka North and South blocks) being surrendered voluntarily on 25 August 1989, to take effect from 27 February 1990. The summaries comprise source / reservoir / seal descriptions for each basinal zone, prospect status reports, prospect reservoir inferred parameters, and block-by-block details of the geology, potential hydrocarbon reserves and risk factors inherent to evaluating each untested prospect, strong or weak lead.; - This report forms part of the data package advertised in the SADME brochure "Exploration Opportunity: Lake Eyre - Birdsville Track Ridge (Areas 90B-90E)" released after 30 June 1990.
