Report describes the outcome of approximately 300 line km of seismic detailing of 2 prospects and 7 strong leads prior to possible Block commitment drilling in 1988-1989. A total of 49 lines derived from 8 Pedirka area seismic surveys, including the latest Mitchell-PED work, were used in the interpretation. Mapped horizons consisted of 6 major reflectors corresponding to regional formation tops, with another 2 intra-formational reflectors in the principle prospective Lower Jurassic sequence added in to highlight structural growth and reservoir development characteristics of each play. The growth history of most structures in the region is shown to be two-fold, with original Delamerian or ?Ordovician basement deformations complicated by Block-wide post-Winton unconformity time compressional structural events. This has led to either an enhanced or diminished but also much less easily recognizable local entrapment potential.
