30 cuttings samples from Platypus 1 and 10 cuttings samples from Echidna 1 were analysed for total organic carbon (TOC), and appropriate samples then underwent Rock-Eval pyrolysis, if such pyrolysis data was not available from previous studies, to determine their eligibility for additional pyrolysis-gas chromatography (PGC) analyses, particularly of selected coal or shale/claystone material. Appendices list the PGC results in detail, both in tabular and diagrammatic formats, as chromatograms, alkene/alkane and aromatic/phenolic extract component abundances, and final PGC parameter summaries.
