An induced polarisation survey was conducted across the Southern magnetic anomaly near Mount Woods, in an attempt to locate in depth any buried metallic mineralisation that might be spatially associated with the local intense aeromagnetic anomaly. 21 traverse lines were laid out on the local exploration grid and IP readings were taken using 400 foot electrode intervals. Weak resistivity values observed generally over the area, plus the signal masking frequency effects of likely inductive coupling between the electrode wires, combined to render the survey results useless for meaningful interpretation.
