Detailed 1:5000 scale geological mapping, soil and weathered bedrock auger drill chip geochemical sampling, and intensive grid-based geophysical surveys, were undertaken in the Kanmantoo - Dawesley - Bremer Fault scarp and Aclare mine - Scott Creek mine areas, searching for similar economic base metal sulphide occurrences to that found in Cambrian metasediments at the Kanmantoo open cut mine. 2 inclined diamond core holes totalling 493.9 m were drilled over the best coincident IP and ground magnetic anomalies identified in each of these target areas, without disclosing significant syngenetic copper mineralisation.
