Detailed underground geological mapping and mine surveying of accessible openings, plus limited surface mapping and ground EM traverses, were lately carried out at the Kitticoola mine. From the results of this work it was concluded that to attempt a continuation of mining on present known ore occurrences would not be profitable. Further exploratory drilling is recommended beneath the 420 foot level to try to identify possible economic lodes with minimum reserves of 20,000 tons averaging 2% copper.
