Continuing assessment of the stratiform copper potential of the Kapunda Mine area and now also the surrounding country has consisted of diamond and percussion drilling, assaying of mineralised intersections (best intercept 10 m @ 2.13% Cu from 427-437 m hole depth in KD11), plus the conduct of detailed, 1:1200 scale geological mapping and of surface geochemical sampling. This work has shown that sub-economic mineralisation extends to the east and south-east of the main fault zone within untested prospective sequences.
