In a search for possible buried stratiform, Olympic dam type copper-uranium deposits in an area of the northern Stuart Shelf near Millers Creek Homestead, airborne and ground geophysical surveys were undertaken in an attempt to define prospective structures within a postulated shallow graben of Adelaidean sediments overlying older Proterozoic basement. The results of this work failed to give encouragement for follow-up drilling.
