16 previously identified aeromagnetic anomalies in the vicinity of Gladstone and Booleroo Centre were investigated for their diamond and base metal source potential. Rock chip, loam and stream sediment sampling failed to reveal geochemical anomalies or indicator minerals suggestive of kimberlite or of stratiform base metal mineralisation. The magnetic anomalies could all be explained by existing rock models, and were not deemed worthy of further work.
