TARGET: Beryllium in granitic and metamorphic rocks between Old Boolcoomata Homestead and Putts Tank. EXPLORATION: Evaluation of known outcropping beryl prospects using a beryllium detector device, and reconnaissance stream sediment sampling of intervening areas to identify additional upslope primary sources of beryl. RESULTS: The instrumental geochemical survey proved the existence of local beryllium highs.
