Work completed on the now relinquished area of 101 square km extent in the south-eastern part of the tenement has comprised 1:25,000 geological mapping, ground scintillometric traversing and sampling for petrographic studies. The poorly outcropping metasediments and granitoids of the Willyama Complex explored here are now considered to be unprospective for a sizeable base metal deposit. Radioactivity anomalies detected within adamellites only (up to 3 x background) are suspected to be due to metamict zircon: no uranium mineralisation of interest was found.
