Testing of the stratabound base metal potential of the basal Pandurra Formation section, in an area located 40 km north-east of Kingoonya, involved drilling down into the pre-Pandurra basement with 4 vertical percussion holes totalling 878 m. This drilling was unsuccessful, as it did not find any mineralisation except for some minor pyrite, and failed to detect any downhole geochemical anomalism in the target section.
