Strike-oriented residual soil sampling (662 samples taken at nominal 100 m spacings along 90 km of traverses) over the pyritic and carbonaceous basal Tindelpina Shale Member of the Tapley Hill Formation, in the northern Flinders Ranges 65 km east of Leigh Creek, failed to locate zones of anomalous base metals. No other features were recognized which suggest the presence of stratabound base metal mineralisation in this area.
