To guide a search for diamonds in the vicinity of Jamestown, structural loci for possible kimberlite targets were defined by lineament analysis. Ground magnetics and radiometrics, done as follow-up to stream sediment and soil sampling undertaken over nine selected areas, failed to provide sufficient encouragement to maintain interest for drilling.
