2 lines of a detailed gravity survey were acquired over a regional gravity anomaly at Kiana on south-western Eyre Peninsula, but the planned full survey coverage was aborted when it was found that the target gravity anomaly was spurious, having arisen from an error made during processing of the regional data. A complementary detailed ground magnetic survey was being run by a Shell representative at the same time over the same traverse lines, and this too was aborted.
