Notes: This report deals only with a discussion and final interpretation of much new data that has been gathered from the historic Kapunda mine and its immediately surrounding prospect area, which data are tied to a local (canted by 16 degrees and 7 minutes towards the NNW) feet-based mine grid (formerly set up by Mines Exploration Pty Ltd) that extends from 3400N to 4000S and from 1500W to 1800E. The earlier quarterly progress reports concerning the gathering of these data over the period February 1972 to April 1973 are stored separately in Env 2141. Other concurrent exploratory work done by Morthland Minerals in the greater Kapunda Dome area, and beyond in the River Light district, is reported separately in Env 2272. All of the results of an earlier Kapunda prospect near-mine evaluation programme conducted by Mines Exploration Pty Ltd during the 1960s are contained in Env 980.
