TARGET: Nickel sulphides associated with ultramafic intrusive rocks; Cu-Zn associated with acid volcanic piles (Prieska or Noranda - type mineralisation). EXPLORATION: Systematic sampling of all basement outcrops for prospective rock types. Interpretation of available gravity and aeromagnetic data, followed up by ground magnetic traverses. RESULTS: Drilling was recommended to test several magnetic features.
