DDH2 was drilled vertically over the period 26/8/1952 to 18/6/1953, to a final total depth of 809 feet 4 inches. It was collared at the level of the plain lying just west of and between the southern and northern Katunga Hills. DDH4 was drilled vertically over the period 6/7/1953 to 7/8/1953, to a final total depth of 327 feet 2 inches. It was collared at the level of the plain lying ~1.5 miles west of the central part of the Camel Hills.
