Following the Architect-in-Chief's minute of 3rd December 1953, the above problems have been investigated personally, and my report is appended. The proposed location of the new primary school at Nairne is along the Adelaide Road, approximately 25 chains West of the rail crossing, and due south of Woodside road, on high ground. The geology and hydrology of Nairne township was fully reported on by Messrs. O'Driscoll and McKellar in their recent investigation into Groundwater Resources of Part of the Onkaparinga Valley (unpublished report). I am in full agreement with their findings, and the prospects at the new Nairne Primary School may be summarised thus.
