Some 100,000 cubic yards of stone are required by the Highways and Local Goverment Department from Section 35 in the Hundred of Caltowie. On this section a small quarry, Kelly's Quarry, was worked about 14 years ago. Recently the Highways and Local Government Department has cut four costeans across the general strike of the county rocks exposing an important geological boundary. Section 35 is owned by Mr. M. Slattery of Jamestown.
