High grade fluorite outcrops as a vein averaging 2-3 feet wide for a distance of 40 feet. This deposit would yield approximately 10 tons of fluorite per vertical foot of depth, of a quality suitable for use in the steel industry as a flux, or for glass and enamel manufacture if hand-sorted. Allowing for cartage costs to the main ore buyers in Sydney, the deposit could be worked profitably on a small scale by open trenching.
