Fred Ingham & Co., Plaster Manufacturers, Port Pirie and Dudley Park have sought Departmental assistance in locating a fresh source of gypsum of sufficient size and quality to satisfy a requirement of 10,000 tons per annum for plaster manufacture at Port Pirie or Dudley Park. A fresh source is necessary as the reserves on existing leases in the Hundred of Tickera, near Port Broughton, are almost exhausted. In response to this request an inspection was made in company with Mr. C. Ingham of a gypsum deposit at Diamond Lake, Hundred of Stow.
