Mr M. Von Berg, the holder of Mineral Claim No 1969, has applied for Departmental assistance to work the deposit of fluorite occurring on his claim. He asks that mining equipment be made available at concessional rates of hire, and that financial assistance to the extent of £250 be provided to cover the expenses that will be incurred for mining a parcel of 12 tons of fluorite and transporting it to a buyer.
