Samples collected in the Mount Gambier, Mount Burr and Naracoorte areas include material from Knight Group sediments at their only South Australian exposure in Knight's Quarry where they are discordantly overlain by a basal conglomerate and the Gambier limestone. Two new exposures of Gambier Limestone not mapped in the Mount Burr area were sampled, together with the Naracoorte liimestone overlying Gambier Limestone on the Kanawinka Fault Scarp.
