At a cost of 0.9d. per ton, 27 percussion holes aggregating 2280 feet have disclosed 1 and a quarter million tons of limonite assaying possibly 50% Fe, 3% Mn, 9% Insolubles. Further ore occurs in the immediate vicinity and northerly in the Cooyerdoo Hills and ground magnetometer surveys and percussion boring is recommended to appraise these deposits.
