Sediments including basalt and limestone of late Pleistocene-early Pliocene age occur on Mount Graham. Both these rock types are considered suitable material for crushing for use as road metal. Reserves of basalt are estimated to be between 10,000-20,000 cubic yards, and limestone between 100,000-200,000 cubic yards. Three diamond drill holes totalling 140' are recommended to test the area outlined on the accompanying map.
