An electromagnetic (EM) survey was carried out in the vicinity of the inactive Uley graphite mine in an effort to detect possible extensions of the known graphitic lodes with a view to developing additional open cut areas. Several zones of anomalous behaviour were outlined, and sites are recommended for shallow drilling to test the relationship between the EM anomalies and the graphitic bodies.
