The Sunman deposit (held by J. Gordon) and Paul's deposit (held by J.C. Paul and A. Gordon) were inspected on July 22nd to 24th, 1958. Paul's deposit was visited in company with J.C. Paul, Mr. W. Bowering (of Oraparinna Barytes Limited), Mr. A. Black and Mr. Mitchell (of the South Australian School of Mines). It was intimated that Bowering had been approached by Paul with a view to processing this clay in the Quorn plant. On August 12th, 1958 discussions were held with Mr. J. Gordon (of Welland Potteries) who undertook to fire several samples taken from these deposits.
