A short survey of gypsum deposits at Lake Yaninee and Kopi indicates that the best gypsum is at Kopi. Here a large dune immediately west of the rail siding contains an estimated minimum of 44,000 tons. The dune is composed largely of pale brown seed gypsum of over 90% purity, overlain by a few feet of white flour gypsum.
