Following a request from the Department of Shipping and Fuel, the safe moisture content for the shipping of Nairne pyrite residues was determined. Shaking tests, conducted under two different methods, indicated that the material can be safely shipped at a moisture content up to twelve (12) per cent of the wet weight of the material.
