Beryllium-bearing pegmatites were beneficiated by flotation. Market grade concentrates were produced with high recovery by stage flotation of 1.46 per cent. BeO feed, but could not be obtained from 0.16 per cent. BeO feed. Direct flotation of the higher grade feed failed to produce a marketable concentrate.
