The results of this investigation show a small gravity "low" over the structure suggesting that the rock formations beneath the central portion of the Dome are less dense than those comprising the surrounding area. No significant magnetic variations were observed. It-is concluded that the results are broadly in agreement with the structure being of diapiric origin, as suggested by geological mapping.
