Sediments in the area mapped belong to the Torrensian Series of the Adelaide System and includes dolomites, phyllites and quartzites, on the east limb of a major anticlinal fold. Some minor folding (interpreted as dragstructures) and faults were seen. An estimated 1100 feet of trenching and one diamond drillhole to a depth of 500 feet, are desirable to test the deposit. Preliminary calculations indicate reserves of several million cubic yards of dolomitic rock in the area outlined on the accompanying map, to an R.L of 600 feet. Available reserves will be dependant on methods of mining.
