In connection with development of the Lincoln Basin to augment the water supply for Port Lincoln it is proposed to construct 1 million gallon storage tank and pumping station on Section 98, Hundred Lincoln. Six test holes were drilled in the vicinity of the proposed tank site, four of these being situated close to the actual site and the remaining two at a higher level to test the depth to bedrock. Foundation conditions at the proposed high level tank site on North Side Hill will form the subject of a separate report.
