It is proposed to construct a 2 million gallon tank on the north western slopes of North Side Hill as a high level storage for water from the Lincoln Basin. Seven test pits were sunk in the area to include the proposed site of a second 2 million gallon tank, which may eventually be necessary. Several trenches were subsequently excavated through the central part of each tank site to obtain more information on foundation conditions.
