Attempts made in the past 12 months to produce salt on Miscellaneous (Salt) Leases No. 682 and 683, have failed. Banks have been breached by high tides, and no sea water has remained on clay pans to evaporate. It has been recommended to the holder of the leases that a contour survey be made of the evaporating basin, and that the holding capacity of the ground be tested.
