This investigation was carried out following a request by Mr L.J. Wyman of Cheeseman, Doley, Drabham and Neighbour, Architects. The new Millicent South Primary School is to be constructed on the site, and information is required on sub-surface conditions. The proposed school is to be of Gambier Limestone construction, single storied with concrete floors. Maximum wall height is approximately 14 feet. Four test pits on the site were examined and detailed soil profiles are appended to this report. The profiles and foundation conditions were discussed at the site with Mr L.J. Wyman.
