A series of resistivity tests has been carried out in the Polda Basin in an attempt to determine whether it will be possible to map the sub surface aquifer by resistivity methods. Results indicate that this should be possible using logged boreholes for correlation and control of resistivity characteristics. It is recommended that a more extensive survey be made with a view to mapping the sub surface water structure.
