Magnetic separation tests on natural and reduced feeds, Humphreys spiral tests and preliminary flotation tests were carried out in this investigation. Best results were obtained by magnetic concentration of the reduced ore, which produced a concentrate assaying 64.7% Fe at a recovery of 95.8%. Humphreys spiral tests results indicate that 60% is the maximum recovery that can be obtained by this method in a concentrate assaying 60% Fe. Flotation results are promising, and further work is recommended.
