45 Auger samples were examined from 8 bores at Hackham, 18 miles south of Adelaide, in the Noarlunga Basin. An upper Reserve sequence of South Maslin Sands - Tortachilla Limestone - Blanche Point Marls is recognised on the basis of distinct lithologies and formainiferal faunas, clearly comparable with the type section in the Willunga Basin. ?Quaternary alluvium occurs as valley fill.
