A site investigation has been carried out for a proposed Television Transmitting tower. Three percussion holes were drilled at the site. The bores penetrated silt and clay of Recent age derived from weathering of the underlying volcanic debris....

A site investigation has been carried out for a proposed Television Transmitting tower. Three percussion holes were drilled at the site. The bores penetrated silt and clay of Recent age derived from weathering of the underlying volcanic debris. The clays below 3 feet are completely weather volcanic debris and contain lava, ash and tuff fragments.
