The stratigraphy of the Comaum 2 bore was revised and corrected. Tertiary sediments extend to 146m, and at this depth are dated as Paleocene on microfloral comparisons with south-western Victoria. Most of the Eocene section of the Knight Group (now Dilwyn Formation) is missing. Early Cretaceous sediments extend to the total depth of the hole at 342m.
