The purpose of this refraction seismic and resistivity survey was to determine the nature of the bedrock in the area of the proposed freeway near Crafers. The results indicate that the sandstone bedrock is strongly weathered to depths of at least thrity feet, thus eliminating the need for blasting during excavation.
