The site for a planned 1 million gallon capacity, reinforced concrete water storage tank to be constructed on the ground surface at Minlacowie was inspected on 27th November 1964, together with S. Warwycke of the SA Engineering and Water Supply Department. Four test pits already dug at the site were geologically logged. This report describes the geology of the site area, and the results of detailed logging of the test pits.
