RB 60/00009 Brachina dolomite deposit, central Flinders Ranges, Hd Bunyeroo.

Mapping and sampling have confirmed high grade dolomite at the base of the Lower Cambrian Wilkawillina Limestone at Brachina Gorge. The dolomite appears chemically suitable for refractory and other industrial purposes, with an average grade of 54% CaCO3 and 40% MgCO3. Reserves above creekbed outcrop level in the eastern portion of the deposit are estimated at 10 million cubic yards.
