A potential iron ore deposit has been investigated in the upper horizon of jaspilite beds of the Hutchison Group, where a drag fold has caused a thickening of the jaspilite beds. Surface samples average 42.2% acid soluble iron. The deposit has a possible potential of 7 million tons per vertical 100 feet. Two diamond drillholes totalling 800 feet are proposed to test the deposit.
