The area previously surveyed by SADM in the “Racecourse” area near Burra, using a 400 foot dipole-dipole configured induced polarisation spread, was resurveyed using a 200 foot dipole-dipole IP sensor configuration. This was done to obtain closer spatial control over the anomalies previously delineated, so that drilling targets could be confirmed or modified. The recently obtained information has delineated two sets of anomalies, one associated with the previously mapped zone ‘C’, and another located nearer the contact between the IA and IB beds. Drilling targets have been recommended which will test these anomaly sets.
