RB 60/00051 Stratigraphy and micropalaeontology of three deep bores, Hd Port Gawler.

Three relatively deep bores, drilled recently on the northern Adelaide Plains in the Hundred of Port Gawler, about 20 miles north of Adelaide, have intersected useful complementary sections of the Cainozoic succession, ranging from 560 feet to 1148 feet in thickness. Two of the bores reached pre-Tertiary basement consisting of quartzite sandstone and dolomite limestone respectively.
